As I awoke this morning

You were right there on my mind

So I'm sending morning wishes

Of the bestest kind



As I sip my morning coffee

Daydreaming comes alive

I pretend that you are with me

And sitting side by side



Chatting across the table

About things old and new

Laughing and being silly

Like we always do



Since we're not together

The miles have come between

Cyber hugs and kisses

I send to you my friend



Try to keep on smiling

And I will do the same

Tonight when I am sleeping
