I'm thinking of you and the wonderful ways

That you brighten up all of my gloomiest days.

You show God's compassion in all that you do

And soon bits of sunshine just start breaking through.

You're a "once in a lifetime" considerate friend.

It's my prayer we'll always be "friends 'til the end".

I know when the gloom seems as dark as can be

That you'll be right there and encouraging me.

And so, my dear friend, though we're now miles apart,

I'm keeping you with me, inside of my heart.

I pray that each morning as you start your day

That you'll think of me too as you go on your way.
